Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, I decided I should only work on wordpress based blogs, as far as we know that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, together with Open Source License make the wordpress the fastest growing blogging platform ever.
After a while I believed that build my own blogs will be more beneficial, because then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, and I think its not a patentable idea, there are a lot of blog networks out there doing just that, but those are not my own sites and I don’t have control, in addition there is no way I can post to them, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.
Its a tedious job to maintain more than a few blogs, if you want values for your blogs, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, its never easy to build successful blogs. Some blogs are quite interesting, such as this one, Feng Shui Jewelry, the domain name is pretty good, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, since this is not a themed blog, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. Here is another one, Garden Gloves, this blog is themed, all topics are about same theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. I can show you a lot more sites, but you should already see the point. Last but not least, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, let them get some content occasionally, such as this blog, Cargo Securement Devices, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.
After you successfully build a few blogs, you can try to build a few more, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. It sounds pretty simple, but the real stuff will be more complicated, follow the white hat tricks and ethic codes of online conduct you will be fine.
